Shimmerelle, LLC was founded by working mothers and sister team of Laura Paight and Christine Szczepanski.  Both Laura and Christine hail from upstate New York where they were raised in a very loving family oriented environment. The driving value behind Shimmerelle has always been to offer a high quality product from a family oriented company that girls will feel beautiful when wearing.

Christine is married and working mother of one child who has always had a passion for the arts and design. After heavy involvement in high school drama club, she attended and received her BS in the Arts from the State University of New York at New Paltz.  She subsequently obtained her Masters of Fine Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia. Christine currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and child and is working in New York City. She has worked for a prestigious ballet company and in various costume shops in and around Broadway. She has also been the costume designer for several off Broadway productions. She has been manufacturing rhinestone hosiery for hit Broadway shows on request.  

Laura is also a married and working mother of three children who has always been passionate about any venture and embodies true entrepreneurial spirit. After receiving her B.S. in Medicinal Chemistry from the State University of New York in Buffalo, she began her career at a major pharmaceutical company as a synthetic organic chemist in pursuit of novel medicines. Always thirsting for more knowledge, she left this career to pursue her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Laura lives in Texas with her husband and children and is working in a corporate environment.
